Eric was goofing around on the piano and he played this sweet groove that made me think of the "Peanuts" TV specials, that music & that wide-open, airy vibe - I said "We've got to do something with that!"

I thought it sounded like it was about a boy & girl walking down the street, and I started remembering when I was a teenager in love & me & whatshisface (nowhere near as cool as Eric) were making blissful love any chance we got. My mom saw the relationship as nothing but a danger, but I knew it was A Beautiful Thing!
